Cookies!!! AHH!!! Yesterday a new co-worker asked me where to go to eat for lunch. Rather than just tell him the directions and risk him getting lost, I decided to walk him to the bakery down the street from our office.
This bakery makes a great personal pan pizza which I recommended to him. While we were waiting for his pizza to be ready, I looked over at the cookies. I noticed the bakery has started making the chocolate filled striped cookies again. How many times over the past year would I come here and buy between six and nine cookies at a time. They are so good!!
Today, I needed to go to the ATM, and on the way I passed the bakery. The cookies smelled so good, that I was tempted to eat one. But I didn’t! I knew that if I would have eaten one cookie, one would have turned into two, two into three, and three into ten.
As I walked back to my office I smiled, and bit into my crunchy green apple.
