Self Defeating

Sometimes, you can self defeat yourself and wind up never getting anywhere.  Since I have come back from my trip, my weight has gone up a little.  I have stopped measuring and I may be eating a second helping more than I should or some snacks. 

The scale started going up a little and I would start the day defeated.  I would have a second bowl of cereal. If there was food at work, I would have those.  Not to mention the chocolate chip snacks.

I am still running a lot and I have increased my mileage. However, I can feel the extra pounds. I feel slower and the hills are getting heavier.  I need to get back to where I was 2 months ago.  All it takes is a few days of sticking to my plan. 

How do you overcome when you feel like you are so far away to your goal?
