It Takes Two

I have started to run in two different pairs of shoes.  I have been running in Brooks Adrenaline about 7 years now.  Now I have also started to incorporate running in Brooks Pure Cadence.  I started using the adrenaline since I went to my local running store said these were the best for me after watching me run.

I have wanted to use a lighter shoe to see how I would run in them. I was a little nervous since back in February, I decided to try another shoe and they did not fit right.  I wound up being injured and taking about two weeks off due to injury and waiting for my shoes to come in.  This time, the new shoes did not cost me anything.  My father and I wear the same size shoes.  He bought the Pure Cadence, but after wearing them, he did not like them as much as the adrenaline.

When my sister came to visit, she brought them to me.  I wore them for about a week straight before I used them on a run. I wore them on the second run with my sister.  It was a short run and we were walking at parts.  I didn’t want to go out too hard and fast in a new pair of shoes.

Now I have started to switch between both pairs of shoes.  I have not had any adverse effects from doing this.  I also read it can make the shoes last longer.  I will keep you updated on my progress
.
Does anyone else use more than one pair of shoes?
