With about 1 week to go before my race, I am in the home stretch. I will probably go running 5 or 6 more days before the race. I am not looking to test my speed or endurance until after the race. My food plan this week is nothing too crazy. I will stick with foods I am comfortable with.
I am running a 10k on a hilly course. I am not worried about the distance as I have been running at least this distance if not farther once a week. What I am worried about is the start time. It is early, around 8:45am. I am used to running in the evening. I think the only affect this will have on me is maybe taking a mile or two to warm up.
