I just signed up for my first race, a
10k in early March. Since it is in the
city that I work in every day, I am already familiar with the streets and
locations. I should have no problem with
the distance as I do this about once a week. The course is hilly, but I run on
hills every day around my hometown. I
hope to finish anywhere from 50-60 minutes depending on how I am feeling that
day.
The only thing I am really worried
about is the weather since I absolutely hate running in the cold and rain. Since I signed up for the race, I am
obligated to run regardless of what Mother Nature sends my way.
All in all, I am very excited for my
first race. Of course, I will be Running
Without A Watch!!
