Chocolate Chips


Lately, I have been going through a phase, where I love chocolate chips.  Some days I just have a handful.  Other days, I will eat them with some honey wheat pretzels.  I add them to my banana bread.  I place a handful and place it in the microwave for about a minute.  It’s a nice chocolate spread.  When we make pancakes, we also add them into the batter.  


I know they are not the healthiest snack in the world, but it fulfills my cravings.  It’s better than a candy bar from the vending machine or a cookie or pastry from the local bakery.  It is me making a choice without depriving myself or going overboard on junk.
