In a few weeks, my parents are coming to visit. I am excited.
It has been over a year since I have seen them. I cannot wait for them to see how I look. I am in the best shape of my life. I am looking forward to go on some runs with
my dad or taking the kids out for a long walk with my mom.
Now is the time to prepare.
I know there is a chance I may not get to go running every day they are
here. My goal is to go out at least
every other day. Next, we may be eating
out or ordering in more than we usually do.
I am in the process of checking out the different restaurants in the area
and seeing what is offered on the menu.
Also, I will be planning on cooking some meals. I wanted to try out some new recipes and make
some fancy food, but realistically, it would be smart to make my staples. We are going to be tired and we all know what
will happen. Instead of making the time
consuming complicated meal, we will pick up the phone and order in. Some of the things I can make very quickly
include baked chicken, sweet potatoes, pasta, steam veggies and tuna.
How do you prepare for when you are having guests stay with
you for an extended period of time?
